Rhinoceros Beetle is one of the rarest and most expensive but valuable treasures in Resident Evil 4 Remake. Here’s where you can find it…
There’s a treasure in Resident Evil 4 Remake that needs to be listed on the in-game maps, and you might only know it exists if you’ve checked out the Skins shop and seen that only one item is missing. If so, like many players, you missed out on the Rhinoceros Beetles.
WHERE TO FIND RHINOCEROS BEETLES | RESIDENT EVIL 4
The game has three Rhinoceros Beetles, one each in the Village, Castle, and Island. This is a unique treasure since it is worth 10,000 pesetas if you want to sell it to the merchant, but using it as a consumable will increase your maximum health, which makes it particularly suitable for S+ runs. So, for everything you need to know about where to find Rhinoceros Beetles in Resident Evil 4 Remake, read on for our guide.
Rhinoceros Beetle in the Village
The Lake Colony is on the north side of the lake and is up in a tree near where you enter this area in Chapter 1.
In the Castle
The Castle Rhinoceros Beetle is first available in Chapter 8. After being attacked by Ashley, you will start the chapter near a fountain with a fish inside. This is the same area where you can complete the Jewel Thief request.
You can find the Rhinoceros Beetle on the back wall, on the left side.
On the Island
This is the hardest beetle to find. This Rhinoceros Beetle can only be found after the start of the fight with Krauser during Chapter 14.
After jumping down and seeing the first cutscene, where Krauser will shoot you with a PMT and a bow, you can go back to find the Rhinoceros Beetle on the wall you jumped off.
