Immortals of Aveum: Made by Ascendant Studios under the umbrella of EA

It is a new IP announced in these hours under the label EA Originals, developed by the newborn Ascendant Studios, made up of veterans who have worked on BAFTA and Game of the Year award-winning titles. It is a magic-based FPS with a cinematic feel to be released on July 20, 2023, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

In the spectacular trailer, we witness the story in the role of the protagonist Jak, an Advenent, a human endowed with magical powers, a new recruit of the Order of the Immortals and the last hope in the victory of the Sempiguerra, a conflict that has been raging since time immemorial in the world of Aveum for the control of magic.

The setting combines sci-fi elements with others of a pure fantasy matrix, from the magic itself that forms the background to the experience of giant dragons and cold-weapon combat in heavy armor. In the video, you can glimpse clips of the frenetic gameplay, in which various spells are combined to launch darts, activate shields, attract or repel enemies, and who knows what else the title has in store.
