State Of Play: The long-awaited Square-Enix RPG, one of the most essential PlayStation exclusives of the year, will show itself again with a long in-depth video.
Final Fantasy XVI is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated products of 2023: Square-Enix’s role-playing game had already demonstrated its potential in recent weeks when it revealed more information on its peculiar combat system that winks at the exponents of the action genre, but the PlayStation 5 exclusive will soon return to the spotlight to offer fans of the saga a new taste of Clive’s adventure in the fantasy world of Valisthea.
Sony has announced a new digital event focusing on the next chapter of the popular role-playing saga.
After the February event dedicated to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the action game from Rocksteady Studios scheduled for the month of May, State of Play will return on April 13 with more than twenty minutes of Final Fantasy XVI gameplay in a digital showcase that will show new creatures, fights and unpublished glimpses of the fantasy world set in the European continent.
The presence of other games during Sony’s digital event cannot be excluded. Still, it is reasonable to believe that the biggest surprises are destined for a more substantial PlayStation Showcase, apparently scheduled for June: among these, there should be room for a presentation of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, another essential exclusive expected for the end of 2023, and of further projects that will arrive on the Japanese flagship console between the end of the year and the first months of 2024.
